I was going to do a whiny emo post about the number of comments my latest Merlin fic has received, but I've decided there's been too much negativity in my journal and really I should be grateful for any comments at all

So, instead I bring the LOLZ.

eleclya_m has totally converted me to the genius of Jonathan Coulton. I've already shared Skullcrusher Mountain with you and last night this one had me laughing while I was walking down the street listening to it on my iPod

Writing stuff

I already have a plot bunny for my clexmas fic and I only got my prompt this morning. See, the Clex muse is still with me. She was just resting while I had a play with the Merlin boys ;)

Just making a note of everything I have to do and when it's due

2/12 - merlinadvent prompt - Snow
7/12 - merlin_the_elf fic due
10/12 - merlinadvent prompt - Cold
19/12 - merlinadvent prompt - Ailments
25/12 - clexmas fic due

I'm making good progress actually. The fic that's due on Tuesday is nearly finished and I have a beta on standby

My merlin_the_elf fic just needs typing up and sending to beta, but it's complete

Uber playlist

To fill the gap until I consider it acceptable to start listening to Christmas music I have put together a playlist of all my favourite songs that have been recced to me this year. I honestly can't remember who recced what so don't take offence if none of your choices are on the list. I love new music and there hasn't been much that I've actively disliked, these are just the ones that stood out and got stuck in my head

Just out of curiosity I've listed them in order of how many times I've listened to them
