I'm at [livejournal.com profile] flickums' house and we're heading off to Nuneaton shortly for Crys' funeral

Please keep [livejournal.com profile] caersidi and the rest of Crys' friends and family in your thoughts today

I'm home and feeling quite drained.

It was a lovely service. Everyone said that it was very Crys. It was really nice to learn a bit more about him as everyone shared stories from back before I knew him. There were some wonderful photos being passed around where he bore a startling resemblence to Bernard Black.

I've also finally been able to cry. I don't know why but even though I knew he was gone it never really seemed 100% real until I saw the coffin. I have to say thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ballistichimp for holding my hand and to [livejournal.com profile] flickums and [livejournal.com profile] artharsil for giving me cuddles. Someone also gave me a tissue but I'm not sure who it was, but I'm thankful to them too.

After the service I drove from Nuneaton back to York which is the longest journey I've done since I passed my test. Thankfully there was only one minor incident and it didn't do any damage to the car.

I think a quiet evening is in order. Might try and catch up on some of my TV shows after dinner

Hope you're all well
