Have you ever had one of those 'what the hell am I doing' things when writing fic?

I'm reaching the end of my Merlin ficlet and I was writing a fairly harmless sentence when suddenly I had a flashback to watching The Sword in the Stone when I was kid. Now the fic just seems wrong. LOL!

Fergus's dog training school is having a Christmas Party for all the doggies next month. Since it's after I finish work for the holidays I said I'd go along as duty photographer

Now Mum-Ra has volunteered me to judge the doggy games.

I'm kind of looking forward to it actually *g*

The irony is I don't think I've ever even discussed the slashiness of Merlin with my mum. It's just that obvious ;)
