The new adapter arrived and does exactly the same thing that the other one did

I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!

So, I'm going to speak to our guy at work and see if he will consider swapping my new one for the old one he loaned me that works perfectly. The specs are exactly the same which is why I'm confused.

I hope I hear something about this job soon so I can get a new laptop that isn't insane.

hils: (Driving Lex by me)
This weeks driving lesson was much better than last weeks. I didn't feel like crying at the end of it which is always a good sign.

I'm still dreading taking my test though and will continue to do so until after I've taken it.

I seem to have no money, or very little anyway. It'll be all those trips to see Iron Man. D'oh!

So, this weekend I will mostly be reading stuff, writing stuff and watching stuff.

Yes, stuff. See how articulate I am.

Yes, I have spent all of today reading the Iron Man novelisation. It's research for my fic! Honest!

One thing I love about novelisations is that you get to see a lot of stuff that was eventually cut from the movie. So this definitely indulged my fannishness, and it's one of the more well written movie books I've read too

So, YAY!

When my brain is done being fried from reading an entire book in a few hours I can continue writing.
