It's interesting how spam is generated. I have two e mail account now, one with Yahoo and one with gmail. My gmail account is only used for LJ comments and personal correspondance and I'm still getting spam. Not much, only a couple a day but it's annoying.
Still, it's nothing compared to my Yahoo account where I have about 8 spam messages every time I check it (which is usually four or fives times a day). Not only do I get huge amounts of spam, the spam is in my inbox as well as my bulk folder and my personal mail often winds up in the bulk folder too.
Yahoo really does suck but I'm going to keep the account for signing up for stuff so that gmail doesn't get plagued with spam too
Honestly, do the people who make these spam messages have nothing better to do with their time?

I am awesome!
Apr. 24th, 2008 03:15 pmI was prepared to whine today. Dave has been off on a course all week and then at the last minute Greg announced he was taking Thursday and Friday off, leaving just me and our contractor to man the office
We went from having 21 jobs on our queue this morning to having 6, shortly to be 5 as I am just waiting for someone to sign for a CD I've burned. Those 5 jobs are all stuff that's on hold.
WHEE!
James is now playing Call of Duty on his laptop. Should I write fic or play Sims *g*
