I wrote my snippet this afternoon and it's the first time I felt properly good about writing this year. The plot took a totally different direction to what I had planned when I started but that, to me, is a good thing. It means the characters are doing what they want instead of what I want

Maybe I'll attempt to tackle the mpreg tomorrow. I know I said I was going to let it go but it's bugging me! LOL!

Procrastination

Today was supposed to be the day I worked on my mpreg. I had a huge brainstorming session with ladydreamer last night but today I can't seem to motivate myself. I've checked my mail, checked my flist, checked my Facebook and now I'm just sort of aimlessly surfing

Oh, I should show this off though. Jacqui and I went for a wander around the shops and in Zavvi I found a Superman sticker so of course I had to buy it. Spent a while deciding where to put it and then I spotted the perfect place

Catch 22

I'm in a catch 22 situation with my writing at the moment and I'm not really sure what to do about it. I don't know why but I'm feeling really anxious about my stuff and worried that it's not going to be good. Then, because I'm worried about it, it winds up not being good because I'm not letting it flow like I normally would. It's obviously having an effect on my work because the comment numbers on my last couple of stories has dropped off massively. 20+ comments for my Persona snippet dropping to 8 comments for my Siren snippet. I'm not counting Fracture yet because it's only been up for about 12 hours.

Now I'm working on my mpreg and I've got this little voice in my head telling me it's crap so I've stopped again

*sigh*

Any advice or should I just stick to making icons. LOL
