Well, of course I had to take some screencaps of my Kip and Brandon Sims in action. I think they are my fastest moving couple yet. LOL! Within five minutes of them meeting they were friends, 5 minutes after that they were crushing on each other and soon after that they were lovers *g*

Books I've read this year

1. The Life of Nelson - Robert Southey

I'm sad to say that this book was actually quite dull. I was expecting it to be full of interesting tidbits that I didn't know, since the author was one of Nelson's contemporaries and this was the first biography to be published after his death. Unfortunately it's quite dry and only really comes alive at the end when he's describing the Battle of Trafalgar.

Ah well, I have two more Nelson books to read. Maybe one of those will be better.

Next on the list is The Last Days of Krypton by Kevin J. Anderson. lexalicious70 told me I had to read this next so we can talk about it and I am totally her bitch ;)

First day back at work after what has essentially been a month off. I didn't get to sleep until gone 3am, despite my attempts to go to bed early. I am currently running about 4 hours sleep. Coupled with that it's my first session of aerobics after a month off too after work tonight

Today is shite!

Somehow I managed to lose my security pass somewhere between walking in the front gate and getting to my desk. It's not far, all I have to do is walk across the car park. I retraced my steps but in a car park the size of hours it's impossible to check everywhere.

Called the pass office and I have to go in tomorrow and fill in a load of paperwork if it hasn't turned up.

6 years I've worked here and I've never done it before but I feel like a total fucking moron.

It's now 3pm and thanks to an insane amount of work I am only just now sitting down to eat my lunch.

*whimpers*

I got changed ready for aerobics but I'm not going. I've had a shite day, even though my pass was recovered, and I'm tired and irritable. I got soaked coming home from work in the rain and quite frankly I am buggered if I'm going back out in it tonight.

I'm going to have some dinner, curl up in bed with my book and then go to sleep

At least I had more Kippy fic to cheer me up slightly, and herohunter let me share the icon I made using her manip and my sims

I had a bit of a snooze after my earlier grump fuelled post. When I got up I did the dishes and Jacqui cooked dinner. We watched Corrie and Eastenders while we ate as that was all my brain was capable of digesting. LOL

I hope tomorrow is better. I didn't even have time to read my Buffy comic at lunchtime, or do any writing. And I forgot to post about the Shirtless Jack Sparrow Dave found on sale and bought for me. My desk is turning to a big, gay, PotC romp. Two Jacks and a Norrington. Norrie must be very happy *g*
