Christmas!

Tonight jacqui_hw and I had our Christmas dinner. She's heading back to her parents tomorrow and I'm going to mine on Sunday so we usually have a little Christmas party before we go our separate ways.

The plan was for me to cook Christmas dinner but it didn't really work out. After spending the afternoon cleaning and tidying I was so tired I could barely move. So Jacqui very kindly did dinner for us while I had a lie down.

After an amazingly yummy meal we opened some presents and then watched Love Actually. We watch this every Christmas and I love it so much. Every year it makes me laugh and cry. Wonderful

Still debating whether to go and see Take That tomorrow. Part of me really wants to go but the other part just wants to go back to my parents tomorrow and go to sleep. LOL. I'll have to see how I feel in the morning I guess.

Things

I've decided to go to the concert tonight. I don't know if it's the right decision or not as I still feel tired and run down but I feel like I'll be letting people down (and throwing away the £50 I already paid for the ticket) if I don't go. I've arranged to get the train back with one of the girls I'm going with and if I don't go I'll be leaving her to travel by herself which isn't good.

Mum-Ra just e mailed me to say I have a parcel from Amazon. Dude, that was fast! *claps hands with glee*

I was really hoping I'd be able to get my Gemini fic posted on Christmas Eve. No real reason, except that marks the one year anniversary of my posting my first ever Smallville fic. I don't think I'm going to have time to get it done and with a beta by then though. Ah well.
