Dave just presented me with Blade Runner: The Director's Cut.

I usually save my Christmas presents for the 25th but this wasn't wrapped so it doesn't count ;)

Apparently it's wrong that I've never seen it. Hehe!

So, Greg phoned me up last night practically squeeing with glee because he'd just bought the last Ultimates book and had just finished reading it. LOL. Greg is not a man who squees so when he asked if I wanted to borrow it first of course I said yes.

ZOMG!! Parts of it were absolutely horrific! There are some really violent character deaths but then it's also really funny in places and amazingly kickass too. Definitely the best comic I've read this year and considering Superman: Red Son was the best one I read last year it is clear that Mark Millar pwns me.

Awesome!

I've finally started reading Spike: Asylum after [livejournal.com profile] woman_of_ gave it to me...uh...ages ago. LOL.

Only read the first issue so far but I'm loving it. How has it taken me this long to read any Jossverse comics?

I'll post a full review when I'm finished

Is Shadow Puppets any good? I've found the trade paperback on Amazon but there's no release date for it.

I've been gleefully looking forward to being challenge free and the day I post my final fic and I already find I'm bored. LOL!

I'm going to have a break this weekend and then make a start on my mpreg fic next week. We're winding down for Christmas now and things are really quiet (the most productive thing I got done today was reading comics). Totally new to this mpreg thing so any advise is much appreciated.

In the meantime I'm going to spend the weekend sleeping, making icons and playing Sims

There is a challenge going at [livejournal.com profile] sv_renaissance and I have not signed up for it. I am pleased with myself.

I think my rule of thumb for next year is that unless I get an immediate bunny for a challenge (excluding CLFF which I will always do) I'm not going to sign up for it. I really want to devote time to my non-challenge fic ideas

Next year I need to:

Finish my [livejournal.com profile] 10_hurt_comfort fics
Write a full length coda to Rage
Write a Chlark fic based on Sneeze
Write episode snippets for the rest of Season 7
Co-write fic with [livejournal.com profile] danceswithgary

If I get all of those done plus all the CLFF challenges then I will be happy :)
