WOO HOO!

I have to say I'm rather pleased with all the nifty new effects I learned when making my Festive icons. I've made a lovely new header for my LJ but I think I'm going to wait until it's actually December before I upload it :)

Jacqui and I are going shopping for Christmas decorations today. WHEE! And I need to pick up my Angel comic

Presents and shopping

Jacqui and I have all the decorations we need to make the flat look all pretty. We're aiming to go for something similar to what we did to The Fangirl Pad a few years ago.

Yesterday parcels came in the post. Alas, although they were addressed to me, they were presents for other people.

Today parcels came in the post. They were both addressed to me and one of them was a present for me. OOOOH!!! I don't know what it is or who it's from. It came from Amazon and I opened one corner, saw it wasn't wrapped and left it like that. I like to save all my presents for Christmas *g*

Now I need to get my Blue snippet finished off and write some of my undermistletoe fic.

Tonight I watched the re-make of Hairspray. MUCH better than the original

I have also reached the conclusion that James Marsden should be in everything. He's pretty! I can't wait for Enchanted to come out.

Jacqui and I were talking about the best new films this year and having checked I see that I've barely been to the cinema at all this year. This is everything I've seen to date

Out of them I would say Stardust is my favourite, followed by Hot Fuzz, Transformers, 300 and Harry Potter.
