Ready to rock

I do appreciate the fact that my Dad drives up to York when I'm due to visit so I don't have to catch the train, but carrying all my stuff to work is a pain. Moreso now I've got the laptop to take too. I really want to buy one of those rucksack laptop bags. Will do so before my next vist.

Don't expect to see much of me for the next few days (although knowing me I will be online when I shouldn't be). I will be spending tonight and tomorrow night bonding with the family (and not watching SPN or SV. Boo!) and I really need to kick the ass of all my fics. I'm anticipating my Halloween fic will be ready for beta by Sunday and then I have to finish my Joe Phillips fic, start my CLFF Wave 23 fic and I promised lexalicious70 some birthday RPS. It's all go!

My parents go away on Sunday morning and I'm off work on Monday and Friday next week so hopefully I'll get lots done. I've also copied a load of TV onto my laptop that I've been meaning to watch for ages.

Right, best head off to work I guess. TTFN!

For once there's a challenge I can't participate in. Thank God! Even the guys at work have been telling me I need to ease off and stop signing up for so much. LOL. And they don't even read fanfic ;)

Anyway, this is for all you Smallville writers who have an unfinished fic or three languishing on your hard drive and craving attention

I don't post fics in chapters any more after I fell into the pit of having 3 years between two chapters of a Buffy fic I was working on. I now only post, and indeed only type up, a fic when it is complete.
