Strange dream last night that I was back at university. A lot of my actual uni friends were there and so was Nathan Petrelli. LOL. I kept trying to hit on him (as you would). The uni was housed in this medival house and Halloween was the main holiday that was celebrated there. Instead of actually studying though every lesson seemed to be PE. I was trying to work out how to get my degree when all we did was play sport all day.

Weirdness.

Today I will mostly be sitting on my room and working on my Halloween fic. I have an idea that I'll get the first draft done by the end of tomorrow but I'm not sure it's going to happen. I shall try though.

At some point I also want to unlock all my Smallville review posts so I can link to them at [livejournal.com profile] eat_crow. Not that I think my reviews have any deep revelations to make, I just thought it would be fun ;)

I have to say that this should have made this book Spiderman 3. It was a coherant telling of the Venom story without all the camp silliness and it actually had some character depth and no silly plot revelations.

Vol 4 next which, judging by the cover, it going to have Spider-Man teaming up with the X-Men. Cool!

I'm also dipping in and out of Self-Editing For Writers by Renni Browne and Dave King. Dave loaned it to me and said it would really help with ways of improving how I write. Let's hope it works!

Hardware guy rang yesterday to say he has the new hard drive for my laptop. We're going to fit it on Monday

Have made a recovery disk so I can re-install Windows and my weekly backup was done yesterday. I'll run it again on Monday morning just to make sure everything is as up to date as it can be

Now I just have to hope it all works!

*sighs*

Series 2 of Robin Hood started tonight. It is so bad, I don't know why I watch it. Oh, wait, yes I do. Richard Armitage ;)

Strictly Come Dancing also started tonight. Damn, Kelly Brook is hot. I just want to eat her up.
