Meep!

Well, there's no getting out of it now. I've been paid my bonus, one of my friends has given me the number of her driving instructor so it's time to book some lessons

On the one hand I have no reason to be nervous. I had a few lessons a few years ago when I was still living with my parents and it was fine. On the other hand this time I will be learning to drive in a big city which is quite nerve wracking

I rather enjoyed making my Buffy icons and am looking forward to making more. Need to do another Smallville set first though

It's kind of frustrating the difference a monitor can make though. All my Something Blue icons looked fine at home but looking on them on my crappy work monitor the icons look a bit dark and some of them you can't see very well at all

I was talking to our hardware guy today about how to create a ghost image of my laptop so that if it breaks I can rebuild it

Got home tonight and the damn thing wouldn't load my profile! I swear it knew I was plotting against its evil ways. Hehe!

Anyway, a restart soon sorted out my profile but I am definitely sorting out a ghost this weekend

A realisation

I'm old.

I'm listening to all the drunk people outside staggering from pub to pub and all I'm thinking is 'I'd much rather stay in and have a nice quiet night' I'd probably be knitting if I knew how. LOL

Tomorrow I WILL finish my CLFF Wave 22 fic (which now has a title. WHEE!) and I will not play Sims until it's done!
