To pay or not to pay

Ok, the problem with my domain host is that there's been a cock up with the payment scheme and essentially we've all been getting free hosting for ages. Obviously now they want us to pay.

It's $78 for a year or $45 for 6 months.

To be honest I'm not sure whether to bother or not. I don't really update the site any more apart from with my own fics (and I write Buffy once in a blue moon these days) and as I said yesterday there's a lot of better archive sites than mine out there.

Maybe I should just let it go. I'm pretty sure no one visits it any more anyway

I reckon I've got enough money left over from writerconuk to be able to afford a DS Lite so I'm going shopping

I wrote a LOT of Buffy fics back in the day!

I've kind of stepped up the pace in moving my Buffy fics over to LJ as I am probably not going to renew my subsciption for Death-Marked Love. It's just too much to pay regularly for a site I update maybe once or twice a year

On the other hand notsowise_sage might have found a way for me to transfer all my stuff over onto a new host so I may be able to keep the site going
