Everyone is doing the WIP meme and I can't because I don't have any WIPs. Mostly because I still haven't got off my arse and started my next CLFF fic. I'm getting a bit frustrated now. I just need that one little snippet that will kickstart me into writing it but I still don't really know what I'm going to do with this fic

Speaking of challenges there's an interesting challenge up at absolut_lex which is tempting me. It's here and picture #4 is calling to be me because the blonde guy looks like Ollie. I guess the other guy would have to be Lex then, even though it doesn't look like him at all. LOL

I was going to give it a miss because of CLFF but I've just seen the posting date isn't until November which gives me plenty of time to get something done after CLFF has closed

And I want to host another fiction challenge at old_school_clex too.

I'm never going to get to write non-challenge fics at this rate. LOL

lexalicious70 is being a corrupting influence on me. She's been poking me for ages about getting a DS and I really want one now.

I know I should definitely wait until after writerconuk and if I wait until the end of the month I can get one from the shop my mum works at and get an extra 10% off

I'm impatient and want one now though :(

Edit: One of the shops in town has a deal where if I buy a console I get a game for free. The cost of the game is more than the 10% I would save if I got it elsewhere so I think I will go with that

Now to see if I can afford it and go to writerconuk

Edit: I could have just about afforded it but I forgot I'm going to Leeds tomorrow so the DS will have to wait until payday :(

Free DVDs?

So, I randomly got an e mail the other day notifying me that my payments to my DVD Rental company had been cancelled. Puzzled, I got in touch to inquire why and I was told the company had gone out of business. When I asked what to do with my outstanding DVDs I never got a reply

So I may have just acquired a copy of Cheaper By The Dozen and Ella Enchanted
