Reality check

I have a very nostalgic view of my time at school, which I know is stupid because I was bullied quite badly until I started my A-Levels. I often feel sad that I lost touch with most of my friends from that time (supernaturalhel is the only one I'm in regular contact with).

Anyway, I just popped onto Friends Reunited and there's quite a few people on there that weren't last time I checked.

My best friend from Primary School appears to have turned into a chav.

The guy I had a crush on throughout my time at school (the popular kid who everyone loves, you know the type) has moved back home and hasn't got a job because they 'do my head in'

Uh-huh.

Well, that explains why I'm not in touch with anyone and mighty glad for it I am too!

I have never been more glad of the LJ draft feature than I am now. I've spent the last hour and a half doing my recs for svroundtable when I accidentally closed the tab that had my post in it

I wonder how Spike would react to a guy he just met openly flirting with him...

I mean Spike/Angel slash is easy to write because they have history. Anyone else I'm not so sure.

And the stress is back

Airports being closed due to a suspected terrorist attack in Glasgow

I'm never going abroad again after this (assuming I can actually catch my plane on Wednesday)

Revised plans

I am seriously considering getting a new train ticket (£20 for an advance single) and getting a hotel near the airport (£50 for a cheap crappy one with a shuttle to the aiport) and travelling down the day before my flight.

That way I can be at the airport as early as I like and delays to the trains won't matter so much

I really didn't want to spend any more money but I think it's the only way to settle my nerves.

I'll think on it tonight and decide in the morning

At least, according to the interwebs, Glasgow is the only airport that's actually closed at the moment
