Back from Bath

Spent a very pleasant evening in Bath tonight. I discovered Summer Fruits Cider which is possibly the most nummy alcoholic drink evah!

I'm finding it quite amusing that as only one of two girls on the course, and the only girl below the age of 50, I am getting quite a lot of attention from the boys. Even though they are all in relationships they seem to feel the need to flirt with me and give me chocolate and booze.

Not complaining here! Nothing is being done in a sleazy way. It's all fun and means I get free stuff ;)

The course itself is shite. The woman training us seems to know less about IT admin than some of us. Ok for those who know what they're doing, albeit boring, but there are people here who have only been doing the job a few weeks. The course book is out of date and riddled with mistakes, the trainer is useless and I think if people fail the exam a huge fuss is going to be kicked up.

Fortunately (or not) I'm in a position where I know most of the stuff we're being taught but it makes the course very boring. Thankfully 2 of the guys are in the same position as me so we just keep sending silly e mails to each other.

Last full day tomorrow and then the exam on Friday
