Back from Eurovision

Hello everyone! I'm back!

Eurovision was a lot of fun and it was lovely to see padfoot_uk, ballistichimp, nam_melon and Mrs Nam Melon.

Lots of fun was had and much food and drink was consumed. We all laughed a lot at the French entry (seriously, a man who looked like Richard O' Brian running around dressed in pink with a ferret on his shoulder).

As usual no one voted for us (except Ireland and Malta). It will be interesting to see if this changes next year when Tony Blair isn't in power. Maybe the rest of Europe will like us a bit more. I mean, let's face it, we all know this voting for this is entirely political to the point where it's easy to guess which countries the others are going to vote for.

Anyway, I liked the Greek entry. It was cheesy and fun so I voted for them. The Serbian girl did have an amazing voice though so it seemed fair that she won. Although the Ukrainian drag artist would have been more amusing.

I spent a lot of the night bonding with Sarah's adorable cats. I wanted to take them home with me :(

This morning we were introduced to Eureka. Loads of people from other shows in it. Maya from BSG, Dr Hamilton from Smallville, Ronald from Supernatural. All very cool.

*sighs*

I am ever so slightly envious of people who are able to churn out amazing fics with seemingly little effort whereas I have to bust a gut just to produce something average

Off to wrestle with my old_school_clex fic some more

Asylum

Sounds like people are having fun at Asylum (although rockgoddes has been saying it was quite badly organised, which comes as no surprise)

I do sort of wish I'd gone, even though I had lots of fun at Sarah's party. On the other had I'd have been totally broke when I got back so it's probably for the best really

Two cons in one month is a bit much and I had a lovely time meeting James, Tony and Brandon so it's not all bad. I've yet to have a bad experience at Collectormania (apart from missing out on getting my Brandon autograph personalised) so I think I chose the right event to go to.

If it had been Mike or Tom instead of Jensen it would have been a totally different story. LOL

Quick question

I seriously seem to have issues retaining plot information from Smallville. LOL. The other day I was doing a beta on a vid for voldything and I didn't even recognise half the clips from Season 2 :-S

Anyway, my question is this: What happens with the lead box after Clark returns the necklace to Lana? Does he keep it? Return it to Lex? Or is it one of those things that's just never mentioned again?
