The day of shiny is here

I've just reserved my laptop and just need to go and pick it up from the shop later today *g* You have NO idea how long I've wanted a laptop. LOL

PC World, weird creatures that they are, have just today started selling a new laptop with the same specs as the one I wanted only with a 100GB hard drive instead of an 80. And they're selling it at the cheaper price that the other one was when I first picked it.

I actually had to get someone to look at the specs of both laptop just to check I wasn't missing something but apart from the hard drive size they are identical

WHEE! Saving!

Edit: Ah, the cheap price is a special offer if you buy it online. If you buy it in the shop it's more expensive than the other one *wins*

More savings

All the guests I want to see at Collectormania will be there on the Saturday so I really don't see the need to go on Sunday too. That'll save me some hotel costs :)

I'll need to ring the hotel and ask them to knock a night off my booking

I really want to start my next fic but I cannot seem to be able to come up with that all-important opening line. Once I get that down on paper the rest should come pretty easy
