I had to shut the bedroom door this morning after Max came in at 7am and decided I should be out of bed and playing with him. Uh, no. Yes, I will be a bad parent, hence my decision not to procreate

Anyway, I've had a better nights sleep now so I feel better than I did yesterday. I might try and get some writing done this afternoon.

Weird dreams last night. Can't remember the specifics but I remember being on holiday with [livejournal.com profile] drbillbongo and the people we were with wanted us to dress up and sing karaoke so we ran away.

Then at some point Lex was on the run from someone and I had to drive his car to act as decoy. The Lionel turned up in a smashed up limo and it turned out he was being chased too

Finally I was at a dinner party with a load of posh people (including Lex and Mr Darcy).

1. The Odyssey - Homer
2. Smallville: The Comics - Misc
3. The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray - Chris Wooding
4. Lex Luthor: Man of Steel - Brian Azzarello & Lee Bremejo
5. The Ultimates: Super-Human - Mark Millar
6. The Ultimates: Homeland Security - Mark Millar
7. Supreme Power - J. Michael Straczynski, Jeff Youngquist, Gary Frank
8. Cursed - Med Odom

I was a bit disappointed with Cursed. Not as a novel in itself, that was pretty good. What was disappointing was the fact that the cover of the book advertises it as 'Spike and Angel on the same side' so naturally I was expecting a story where Spike and Angel have to work together to destroy some big bad. They don't even meet up until the second from last chapter! There were some nice Fanged Four flashbacks but I wanted more Spike/Angel stuff really. Ah well.

Next on the list is The Big Over Easy by Jasper Fforde. I am WAY behind on my Jasper Fforde books. I think there's another 2 or 3 after this one. Eep!

Last night I watched the lunar eclipse which was very pretty.

I also watched John Barrowman on Al Murray's Happy Hour. Now, I don't find Al Murray especially funny but I liked the jokes he was making with John. John was howling with laughter so I'm guessing he enjoyed it too

Donny Osmond was also on and was similarly quite happy to take the piss out of himself. Excellent

Sonia from Eastenders wanted to be in on all the jokes but was mostly being ignored. LOL

Some news just in on JAMES:

http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=9864

At this point, fans were able to ask their own questions to the panelists as one fan asked if any voice actors from "JLU" animated series will carry over to the movies. The answer was a firm ‘No,’ but they went further by revealing some of the new voices of the "Superman: Doomsday" movie. Adam Baldwin will be the voice of Superman, Ann Heche will provide the voice for Lois Lane, and James Marsters will voice Lex Luthor. Fans may remember that Marsters voiced Brainiac in "Smallville" quite recently.

and this..

The cast for the feature cartoon is taking a bit of a different twist. Though sporting Timm's typical clean, block-style designs, the voices will be different. Gone is the talent behind Justice League Unlimited. Tim stated that he really wanted to differentiate these projects from the past serialized shows. To that end, he revealed three of the main characters in the story and the talent attached to them. Adam Baldwin will be portraying the Man of Steel himself, Clark Kent. Anne Heche will be taking on the role of Lois Lane. James Marsters, known as Spike to many, will be doing a new take on Lex Luthor. Timm specifically noted that the writing team had reconstructed and analyzed Luthor to find a suitable role for this project.

and also, a really Spike positive review on the comic:

Well, it's nice that James is getting new work. I think Adam Baldwin will be good as Superman, and I am interested in James's take on Lex. I wonder if Mike will transfer over like Adam has or if he's done with cartoons now

I swear I'm suffering from sleeping sickness or something. I didn't get up until 10:30am, then at 4pm I crashed for a couple of hours and I'm still tired! Meh!

I want to write some more of my fic but I can't be bothered right now. LOL. If I force myself it'll just end up being rubbish so I think it's best to just leave it

Top Gear was hilarious as usual tonight although I got a bit cross with Lemar for being a bit of a wanker. I can understand why he got annoyed but dude, you know what Top Gear is like, if you were that serious about the Brits then why the hell did you agree to be on the show? Chris Moyles had the best attitude. He just sat there and got drunk. LOL.

Also, Billie Piper is really posh! WTF?

Have coloured my hair and I think I will do a bit of reading (something light and fluffy I think) and then I'll either go to bed or watch The Fog depending on how I'm feeling
