Writings and other things to do

off_that_bridge was kind enough to look at what I have of my SV fic and I'm feeling a little better about it now. Thanks luv! So today I will mostly be writing more of it.

Got a few little jobs to do today as well and then this afternoon Dad-Ra is coming to pick me up to take me home for a few days.

Things to do:
Burn an SPN DVD for rotschopf
Burn a Heroes DVD for Dave
Buy some postcards for kittygoth
Pay some money into my laptop savings fund
Download and watch Lost

It's going to be a busy day methinks

Well, my plan for getting stuff done appears to be failing miserably

The SPN DVD I'm burning has only just reached the data verification stage so I don't think it will be finished much before I have to leave. It doesn't have all the episodes on it as I ran out of room so the rest will have to wait until I get back next week, as will the Heroes disc for Dave

Lost is currently 30% downloaded so that's not going to be finished before I have to leave

Dad-Ra called and asked me to pick up a cable for his phone but nowhere seems to have one

*sigh*

Still, I did manage to get some stuff done.

After some comments by off_that_bridge I've decided to break my SV fic down into chapters. Chapter 1 is now with my beta and Chapter 2 is started. So I feel like I've achieved something. The whole fic is finished in handwritten form but I suspect the finished version will in no way resemble the first draft. LOL.

I took a load of my old books into a charity shop. That wasn't actually on the list I posted this morning but it's something I've been meaning to do for ages. The books in question have been sat in a pile on my bedroom floor for months

I paid the money for my laptop into my savings account. Realised I haven't used my savings account since 2003 (bad Hils!) and had to give them my new address.

At the moment the latop at the top of the consideration list is this one but I will most likely have changed my mind again by the time I'm ready to buy it at the end of the month

Now I need to have something to eat and then pack

Remember when I went to Corsham and printed off a load of lanning's Identical series to stop me going insane? Well, it seemed like a big waste of paper to just chuck it away so I took it down and put it in our local paper recycling bin. Now I'm imagining the look on someone's face if they happen to read it. LOL.

Dad-Ra has games and stuff planned for this evening so I might go and lie down for an hour. Getting up at 9am on my day off is WAY too early for me. LOL
