Early morning musings

I've just been re-reading my Clex fic. I have a very basic writing style which I don't think I ever noticed before. I use short sentences, my language isn't overly flowery or poetic and I'm not big on description. I should probably work on that I think. My one and only long Sparrington fic is probably the best thing I've ever written. Why can't I channel that into other fandoms? I don't know where it came from but I just seemed to find it so easy to get into Norrington's head and express how he's feeling in (what I consider to be) a descriptive way

Food for thought when I start my next Clex fic I guess. Which is now. Yes, I know it's 1am. The joy of the holidays is I can sleep all day and write all night. Which is what I would do all the time if I could. LOL

Going nowhere fast

Well, I started my Clex fic last night but I didn't get much beyond the first scene. I know what I want to happen (mostly) but I think I need to watch the episode it takes place in again to get a feel for the mood and whatnot (don't worry jacqui_hw I'll watch it when you're out or something)

So today I may as well work on my Alphabet Meme. I made a resolution to get it finished. If I try I might be done by New Year *g*
