MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Hope you're all having a lovely day and that Santa has brought you lots of goodies. We've just had our Christmas meal *explodes* and now we're heading off to watch a DVD. Just wanted to share my goodies before I go

It's been a 'Super' Christmas )

Christmas hugs and kisses to you all. Off to watch Superman now. WHEE!

Ok, this has confused me for a while and I'm probably over-analysing it but lets see what people think. Superman. The first movie. Lois dies and Superman makes the earth spin backwards to reverse time so she doesn't die. But surely if time has gone backwards then he hasn't stopped the two nuclear missiles. Right? So how does that work? *confused*

I went all wibbly when Lois is interviewing Superman in her garden. So sweet! I really have to look at the Superman movies and Smallville as two totally different and unconnected entities. I mean Smallville is pretty far away from Superman canon, right? Lex and Clark didn't really know each other. In fact, the first time Lex and Superman meet is in this first movie. So Smallville is like an AU? An AU where Lex is his best friend (at first) and I can happily slash them. Then in canon Superman it's Superman/Lois all the way

What I do find interesting is the different takes on the secret identity. In the movies Clark is Superman's secret identity (ooh, and in the directors cut it's all explained about why he had to have a secret identity) but in Smallville (and I believe in Lois and Clark too) Superman is Clark's secret identity. Verrry interesting

Anywho, gotta go watch Dr Who in a few minutes

Hope you're all having a great Christmas.

Damn, I thought Richard Armitage was hot in Robin Hood!

I did miss his faux Sean Bean accent but he looked so sexy in those wooly jumpers. Hee!

Finally some British TV that isn't utter shite
