I've just spent the last hour or so reading a load of kantayra's Clex fics

I am happy

I need a Clex icon

So, I complain about not feeling fannish anymore and then spend hours reading as many Clark/Lex fics as I can find. I've barely read any fics for months unless they were written by a close friend.

Aww, it reminds me of when I first discovered Buffy fanfic many years ago and I spent hours and hours staying up til stupid hours reading as much Spuffy as I could find

I do find it slightly amusing that I have become this involved in a fandom which I constantly mocked.

Also, this quote seems to be everywhere at the moment and since it was always one of my faves from Superman 2 (my Dad and I used to shout it at each other at totally random moments)

OMG, if I don't get any Superman films for Christmas (1, 2 and Returns are all on my wishlist) then I will be doing some serious shopping in the New Year

I wonder if watching the movies in retrospect will make me ship Kal-El and Lex? Neither Gene Hackman nor Kevin Spacey are anywhere near as cute a Michael Rosenbaum.

My day

Mum came to visit today and we had a nice walk around the shops. I bought a Superman Returns calendar. I considered a Smallville one but that would have meant looking at Chloe and Lana some months. Bleh.

We had very yummy fish and chips for lunch and I was amazed by a HUGE chocolate fountain. Not only did they dip marshmallows and fudge in it but you could also buy a shot of hot melted chocolate. Alas, I was too full of fish and chips to try one. Maybe another day.

In other news writerconuk appears to be coming together nicely.
