Where has the time gone?

I start my new job on Thursday, and then on Friday I'm going down to London for a training course. I get back the Wednesday after and then it's just 3 weeks until Christmas

Observations and ponderings

This morning I carried on the project of tagging all my old LJ entries and I'm now back as far as Christmas last year. I feel all festive now. Is it too early to put up the Christmas decorations?

Was looking at some photos of me last year and omg I'm flabby. I've lost nearly a stone in the past few months and I'm still a bit podgy.

I've also noticed that I'm nowhere near as fannish and full of squees as I was last year. I was thinking about it the other day and reading these old entries has just highlighted it to me. I guess I'm getting old. LOL.

jacqui_hw and I started watching Season 1 of Smallville tonight. OMG, that show is just one long facepalm. The only good thing about it is the Clex and that is something I never imagined myself enjoying. Other than that it's filled with crap acting and camp storylines. Actually, in a way it's like Season 1 of Buffy. Only with bad acting.
