Nice Senior Manager has asked me to act as a rep at an open day we're having in October. I'll have to talk to potential customers and try and persuade them how great we are

*wibbles*

I know he's chosen me because he wants me to get experience/skills that will help with applying for management jobs and that's great but I'm really nervous about doing it. LOL

I'm going to London tomorrow and I was slightly worried that since today was the earliest day I could buy my tickets (I was skint until I got paid today) that I wouldn't be able to get a seat reserved. After my last train journey I really didn't want to wind up having to stand for over 2 hours. So I decided to go to the station before work this morning. I got up early so I could still get to work at my usual time, only to discover when I got there that the office for advance tickets didn't open until 8 (the time I usually start work) so it's a good job I'm on the flexi clock. Sat around until 8 and then got my tickets (no trouble reserving seats) and then I took a taxi to work.

Computer system went down at about 9 for half an hour and then crashed again at about 11. It's still not working, hence all the entries.

Because I took a taxi to work I couldn't stop at my usual sandwich shop on the way. Had to go out at lunch and all they had were some crappy Weight Watchers sandwiches. It was horrible and I want to eat something else now just to take the taste away.

I just want to go home.

Your Element Is Air

You dislike conflict, and you've been able to rise above the angst of the world.
And when things don't go your way, you know they'll blow over quickly.

Easygoing, you tend to find joy from the simple things in life.
You roll with the punches, and as a result, your life is light and cheerful.

You find it easy to adapt to most situations, and you're an open person.
With you, what you see is what you get... and people love that!

You Are Grape

You are bold and a true individual. You are very different and very okay with that.
People know you as a straight shooter. You're very honest, even when the truth hurts.
You are also very grounded and practical. No one is going to sneak anything by you.
People enjoy your fresh approach to life. And it's this honesty that makes you a very innovative person.

You Are Indigo

Of all the shades of blue, you are the most funky, unique, and independent.
Expressing yourself and taking a leap of faith has always been easy for you.

This interaction occuring during the commentary for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Kevin Smith: There's that actor from Buffy. Wow, I really can't remember his name. *nudges Jason Mewes* You watched Buffy. What's that guy's name?
Jason Mewes: Uh...I can't remember the actor's name but the character he played in Buffy was called Ryan.

*Sporfles*

Marc Blucas clearly made an impression on set
