You know, it's probably because I have an overly romantic view of pirates but I had real trouble sympathising with the author of this book. All he did was complain and try to work out how to escape, which is obviously what you would do if you were being held hostage by pirates. I dunno, something about him annoyed me though

Next is Joss Whedon: The Genius Behind Buffy by Candace Havens. Joss is God *bows and worships* LOL!

I nearly went on a killing spree last night. Went to bed at about 11pm and a group of students were sat on the bench outside my bedroom window talking. Nothing new there. At 12:30am though I was woken up by a guitar and the whole lot of them singing 'What's Up' by 4 Non Blondes VERY loudly. I got up and went outside. I explained to them that I had to go to work in the morning and that they were sat right outside my bedroom window. I asked them to keep the noise down and they said sorry, and then carried right on doing what they were doing. They probably thought they were being quite. Quiet to drunken students is anything lower than shouting

Anyway, at 2am it was still going on and I was resisting the urge to go out there, smash the guitar and kill them all. I mean, I don't care what they do on a weekend when I DON'T have to be up at 7am. But I suppose asking them to be considerate of others when there was about 10 of them and 1 of me is asking a bit much

I knew there had to be something wrong with this place. It's like living in Halls of Residence again!

So, I'm pissed off and tired this morning. Hopefully Dead Man's Chest will soothe me after work

*Sigh*

As Colin, you are lively, friendly and inquisitive! Just make sure you don't get in people's way too much.
