I watched the final episode of Firefly and Serenity last night. Afterwards I watched a couple of the special features, including an introduction to Serenity by Joss Whedon.

Damn, that man is passionate about what he does. He gave this beautiful speech about how love and belief from the cast, crew and fans had brought Serenity into being. It actually brought tears to my eyes

This is why I will always consider the Whedonverse my true fandom home.

Right then

I got to work at 7:30am this morning so I can leave at 3pm and go straight to the station to go to London

Tomorrow I will be meeting Elijah Wood, Nathan Fillion and Christopher Lee (if everything goes according to plan)

I will also be getting a professional photo done with Elijah tomorrow

I can leave work in 2 hours!

I looted the Amulet of Lost, the Armour of Gothic, the Sword of Jadiel, the Dagger of Tearsandrainxxx, the Axe of Frollyfruitcake, the Crown of Misskittie79, the Shield of Cinema, a Figurine of Oneiriad and 158 gold pieces.

Ah well

Christopher Lee has injured his leg and won't be attending the con now.

That'll help my bank balance some anyway. So I think I'm going to go with Elijah, Nathan and Carrie. I would like to meet Alan Tudyk but Carrie is a bigger name so I should probably take the chance while I can.
