Hehe! Thank you guys for taking my silly poll. I should do those more often. Hee! *loves* I'll have to post some results later ;)

I spent the majority of yesterday afternoon playing Soul Calibur 3. That game is just way too addictive. I'm running through Chronicles of the Sword mode again, only this time I'm using Buffyverse characters. I have Buffy, Faith, Spike, Willow and Giles on my team. It's amusing to see Willow fighting with a really long lance. Metaphor anyone?

After that we watched a load of programmes about 1973 as well as a repeat of the first episode of Life On Mars. Seriously, I find it bizarre that a programme I watched purely by accident has now become a major fandom for me. I only watched the first episode because there was nothing else on and the intention was to watch it for a bit and then go to bed. Now we have all the episodes burned onto DVD AND we're watching all the repeats on BBC4. You just know the fanfiction will be coming soon.

Once Life On Mars had finished I watched the last hour or so of Fight Club because it was on. I love this film so much. And Brad Pitt is just GUH! Hmm...I need to watch Troy again

[livejournal.com profile] robhu showed me this a few days ago and I thought I'd share. I'm sure a lot of you have seen it already

Question

Has anyone else seen a version of Phantom of the Opera that isn't a musical. I don't remember much about it, only that I saw it on TV in the late 80s to early 90s and that the Phantom gets shot and killed at the end.

Any ideas who was in this or anything?

On Writing

Our computer network was down for a couple of hours this morning and I couldn't even get online so I figured it would be a good idea to get my first fic for [livejournal.com profile] 50passages finished. Only problem is it's a Sawyer/Kate fic and I've realised I'm just not interested in them any more. Sawyer/Jack is just far more interesting. I don't want to scrap the Sawyer/Kate fic though since it's nearly finished so I'm just having to force myself to write. It's really hard and I'm sure the fic will be poor as a result. I'm going to need a really good beta to pull it apart and help me make it half decent

Meh!

YAY!

All my icontest entries have been submitted. I'm probably going to have to miss out on entering [livejournal.com profile] bean_stillness this week as the images will be posted tomorrow and I'll be heading back to my parents tomorrow night. We'll see. I might be able to throw something together using their PC.

Sammy-boy treated me to a burger tonight. The place was a bit too up its own arse for my liking but the bird serving the drinks was a bit of alright. She clearly wanted me.

A stiff drink would be good right now and maybe some cards down the pub
