This has been floating around LJ since yesterday

Sean Bean ("The Lord of the Rings") has been cast in the lead of Fox's undercover drama "Faceless."

On "Faceless," Bean will play Eddie Prey, who used to be a heavy-set federal prosecutor, until he's beat up and shot. After losing weight, he takes on a new identity and goes undercover to bring down a major crimelord. Hour-long comes from 20th Century Fox TV and Flame TV.

The British actor will utilize an American accent for the part. Bean's other credits include "North Country" and "The Island." He'll next be seen in the features "Sharpe's Challenge" and "Silent Hill."

I don't want Beanie to move to America! What if he loses his Sheffield accent? What if he turns into Dom and starts making outrageous comments that he's God?

General stuff

spittlepig has made me a lovely LJ header. I can't wait to get home this afternoon so I can make my journal all pretty *g*

Jacqui and I watched To Kill A King last night. It wasn't the most thrilling of films but it taught me a bit about the civil war which is a part of our history that I don't really know much about. Unfortunately Jacqui and I ended up shipping Cromwell and Lord Fairfax. Historical slash is wrong. But then I do read RPS so I suppose anything goes really.

Already getting sucked into The Da Vinci Code. Couldn't put it down last night and nothing much has really happened yet. LOL.

Uh, not much else to say really. I have to leave for work in 15 mins. Meh!

Meh

Just went to start downloading BSG and was told I didn't have enough space on my hard drive. Had to go and delete all my previous episodes of BSG and Desperate Housewives, which in all fairness I probably wouldn't want to watch more than once anyway. MUST work out how to burn Lost onto DVD so I can clear those off my hard drive too

What do you think of my new journal? Too white?

Hair

I hate going to the hairdresser. Whoever is cutting my hair always wants to make small talk and I never have anything to say. I'd much rather just sit there in silence :-S

Anyway, when she was done cutting my hair she decided she wanted to straighten it just to see what it looked like. I used to straighten it myself but to be honest I just can't be arsed most of the time. I like my hair to be as low maintenance as possible. So, just so you can see what it looks like before I wash and dye it tomorrow here are some piccies
