I watched Amadeaus last night because I didn't have time on Friday. It's the second time I've watched it and overall it is a brilliant film and I can see why it won the Oscars that it did. There was just one little thing that bugged me. WHY did everyone in it have an American accent? Even Simon Callow who is a well respected British actor had an American accent? Is it an artistic thing? Because obviously it's set in Austria

At least in Immortal Beloved the cast attempted to speak with German accents.

I dunno, it just annoyed me a bit
