( Spoilers for The Lost Slayer )
Here's hoping that the computer system will be down again today. I'm taking a book to read as well as my fanfic notebook just in case

Strange morning
Jan. 13th, 2006 10:34 amI had to explain to my office this morning what a fangirl squee was, and then do a demonstration. LOL
Ex boss-lady has just told me that before Christmas she put me forward for a special bonus of £300 which I'll be getting at the end of the month. I'll have to pay tax on it and the student loan people might take a bit but I should still get between £150 and £200. Woah! Well, that'll sort out Collectormania and go a bit towards the move too. Really didn't expect that at all.

Finally, an answer
Jan. 13th, 2006 02:49 pmHey,
flickums
Noah's wife is not named in the western canon of the Bible. Later Midrashic writings give her name as Naamah, also employed by the Book of Jasher. According to the Book of Jubilees (canonical in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church) her name was Emzara.
So now we know. Joan of Arc was NOT Noah's wife ;)

I'm playing with the beta of Windows Live Messenger. It's pretty neat. Not massively different to MSN but you can change the colours and leave offline messages so that's pretty cool
Thanks
underyourspell for the invite

Fic: Madame Mystique
Jan. 13th, 2006 06:58 pmTitle: Madame Mystique
Author: Hils
Rating: G
Pairings: Norrington/Gillette
Disclaimer: I don’t own these characters. Lord knows I wish I did.
Summery: A rather silly fic based on a fandom version of Cluedo where we realised at the end that the character we'd named Gillette was in fact a female
Dedications: Thanks to
drbillbongo for the help, to
jedipirate for the idea and to
black_claw for helping me have a fun New Year
( I'm a real LJ cut. Honest. )
