I'm trying to build my leather chair and all I have are a set of stupid fucking diagrams which do NOT explain why I can't adjust the height of my seat even though I followed all their stupid fucking instructions

*sigh*

Seriously, I have no idea what I've done wrong. The lever just does nothing when I move it

It's 1:45am and I'm still battling with this fucking chair. These are the WORST instructions ever. According to this you put the back of the chair on after you've put on the arms. Only it doesn't FIT once the arms are on. I think tomorrow I'm going to have to take it apart and put it together my way.

I still have NO idea why the height lever doesn't work though

Have sent a pathetic e mail to my dad asking for suggestions

I feel useless and crap and now I'm going to bed. This chair is really uncomfortable because I can't lean back or the back will fall off the chair

I've only had 5 hours sleep. Early night for me tonight I think. After I've done battle with the evil chair of doom once more of course

Right, some kind people on livejournal_uk have given me some tips for assembling my chair so once more unto the breach dear friends once more

Desperate Housewives is still downloading :( Stoopid PC must have disconnected while I was at work

Collectormania next month and I'm feeling totally unenthusiastic. I keep thinking the money could be put towards the move in May. Ah well, the tickets and hotel have already been booked and I don't need to go mad with the autographs I guess

Might have a fiddle with my DVD burner later (if I get this damn chair built)

Edit: The raise/lower thingy works. YAY! Now I just need to get the back of the chair fixed on. Nearly there!
