Flights are booked! WHEE! It was a bit more expensive than I'd planned but it was the only way I could arrive and leave at a sensible time and not have to change in Italy (I jest not. I could get a slightly cheaper flight if I changed in Milan. WTF??)

I'm also flying from Manchester so the extra money for the flights I'll save in train fares.
