Greetings from Suffolk
Aug. 27th, 2005 11:22 amVisiting my friend Ros this weekend in the lovely county of Suffolk. We're just getting ready to go out and then we're going into Bury St Edmunds to do a bit of shopping and then out into the countryside so I can play with my camera
Met Ros's boyfriend last night. He's lovely. Reminds me of Prince William. Good looking, well spoken, polite and charming and from a well off family. Only problem is that he has a child from a previous relationship and Ros is VERY religious and doesn't believe in sex before marriage. She's having some trouble dealing with this. Either she'll get over it or she won't and the relationship will end. I hope for both of them it works out. He's lovely!
On a personal level I realised yesterday just how much I like being single. I'm a very independant person and the reason all my other relationships failed (apart from my irrational fear of sex) is because I feel smothered. Obviously a tiny percentage of me gets lonely occasionally but that's the price I have to pay I guess. 98% of me is happy the way I am
Obviously I'm not ruling out a relationship in the future but I'm not going out and actively looking for one. If the perfect person comes along then great, if not then I'm happy in myself :)
