Got my Jamie fix yesterday by watching the first Hornblower AND the Battlestar Galactica mini series. I realised that I had actually seen it before when nam_melon showed it to me and Dave a couple of years ago but there was more of a squee factor involved this time. LOL. I got quite into it and shall probably buy the first series when I get paid. jacqui_hw wasn't impressed and left halfway through. I guess she won't be watching the series with me then ;)

Jamie is very different in Battlestar. Short hair, American accent, but still lovely. For those who haven't seen one or the other before here's a comparrison

Spent a lovely afternoon with salymander, her dad and her brother. We went for lunch (food took forever to arrive) and then I took them on a quick tour of the city. We went into York Minster, The Shambles and Clifford's Tower. Haven't been up Clifford's Tower since I was a kid so I took some photos. Very cool view of the city

Film-makers had to shrink IOAN GRUFFUDD's genitals for the new FANTASTIC FOUR movie - so he wouldn't alarm young cinema-goers. The Welsh actor plays MR FANTASTIC in the summer blockbuster, and found the character's lycra outfit a little too revealing. He explains, "I started out wearing a codpiece under the suit. "Then memos started arriving from the studio that we needed to make it smaller and smaller until I was like Action Man."
