I was so tired that I went to sleep for a few hours when I got in from work last night. I feel a lot better now

When I got up and had cooked dinner we watched a bit of TV. Interesting programme about the life of Arthur Conan Doyle which I missed the end of so I could watch Big Brother (the shame!)

I really have no idea who is going to be evicted from Big Brother on Friday. Kemal keeps bitching and Orlaith keeps moaning so it could be either of them really. Getting VERY sick of the Craig/Anthony thing

After that I settled down in bed and drbillbongo called me from the party she was at. We chatted mostly about the joys of Ioan and the greatness of Hornblower. EEE!!!!

I've fiddled around with my user info as I decided the page was too cluttered and I wanted to add my lovely sparkly text that ringer04 made for me

Now, I have to get ready for work. And it's raining outside. Meh!

I've just been listening to a man on the radio who was physically pushed from a tube train because he was Asian and 'might have been a bomber'

Do people not see that by acting in the way is just going to make things worse. We're not going to gain any support from the Muslim community if we keep panicking and attacking innocent people. Of course people are scared. I'm going to London tomorrow and I'M scared, but living in a multicultural society as we do there are a lot of Asain people out there who of course are not going to be terrorists.

It just feels like the country is falling apart and the terrorists are winning by driving a wedge between us.

Yes, I'm scred but I'm not going to cancel my trip. I won't let a very small group of people dictate how I live my life

I've had an amusing afternoon tormenting Greg with talk of slash. He find it really strange that I see gay relationships in so many things that he doesn't

He thinks Sam and Frodo have an innocent master/servant relationship

He thinks Sirius and Remus are just close schoolfriends

Of course the more wound up he got about my insistance they were all gay the more I teased him by giving more examples of 'gay' couples

I can't wait for him to meet drbillbongo who sees slash in even more things than I do. LOL
