The world is conspiring to not let me sleep in this morning. I got a text message from my mum at 6:30 asking me if I want a lift home at 10. An hour later I got a text from drbillbongo squeeing (rightfully) about Ioan and half an hour after that I had to get up to sign for a parcel (Indian Runner has arrived. Whee!)

So, I've given up on the whole sleep thing. I'll loiter online for a bit, pack and then go off wherever with Mum-Ra

Titanic was on TV last night. I love, love, love that film even though I know that it's not actually that good. I am incapable of watching it without crying at least once. I think I freaked Jacqui out with my ability to recite virtually the whole script. LOL

We've worked out that Titanic is actually the biggest fandom connection film ever. Look at the evidence

Was very surprised to see Science evicted on Big Brother last night. I was sure it was going to be Orlaith. His interview with Davina was a real shock. He was quiet, argued his points well and revealed he won an award for a documentary he made. Why the hell wasn't he like that in the house! He'd have won for sure! Weirdness

Also just found out that Archie from Hornblower was at Collectormania in April and therefore not likely to be there again in October *sob* I hope they add some good people soon or I'm not gonna go. So far the only person I'm even remotely interested in meeting is Nicholas Brendon (Adam Busch will be there too but I've met him before)

"Which way do we go now?" Sheila asked, straining her eyes to even see the road in the dark

"Ask Hank, he's the leader," Eric snarled in his usual sarcastic tone.

"Quiet Eric, I'm thinking." Hank fired an arrow into the night sky, briefly illuminating the area around them. "I think we'd better camp here for tonight and move on in the morning. Eric, you take first watch."

"Watch what? We can't see a thing!"

"Just do it!"

With a muttered grumble under his breath Eric headed a little further ahead and settled himself down. He was far enough ahead of the other that they wouldn't be able to hear him complaining so he drew his cloak around himself and shiverred.

"Everyone else has someone to help keep them warm but not me, oh no, I have to keep watch."

"I'm here."

Eric's head whipped around, his shield at the ready. He relaxed when he saw it was Hank, blanket in hand.

"Thought you might want this."

Hank sat down beside Eric and wrapped the blanket around them both, placing an arm around Eric's shoulders

"You have no idea how hard it is, pretending to hate you all the time." Eric said quietly, his voice subdued

"I know, I wish we didn't have to do it like this but I don't think the others would understand."

"Yeah...are you sure they don't know you're here?"

"They're all asleep. I checked."

Eric smiled and snuggled deeper into Hank's embrace. "Good, now let's see about warming each other up."
