I feel REALLY crappy now. My nose is all snotty, my throat still hurts and I have a headache. At least it's not as bad as when I got back from Tampa. I've taken some Night Nurse and I can spend all of tomorrow in bed if I need to

Bank thing was fine. Woman was very appologetic about the cock-up and sorted everything out for me. She then asked me if I was interested in a £51,000 mortgage. LOL. Not right now, but at least I know what sort of amount I can get at the moment. I definitely want to own my own place by the time I'm 30.

I finished Third Age today and I enjoyed it so much I've started again and am using a slightly different party. I thought I'd give the ranger a go, even though [livejournal.com profile] bogwitch has warned me he's crap. I like to see it as a challenge. LOL. He's doing ok so far.

The actual plot of the game is pretty incoherant and the ending was the most disappointing thing ever. In fact there wasn't really an ending at all. I *think* the Gondorian bloke ended up with the Rohan girl, despite the fact they clearly spent the rest of the game implying he was in love with the elf girl. I dunno, it was weird. However, I am willing to put that aside because the actual game mechanism is fab. I just killed the balrog again

Oh, I wish my PC could run Battle For Middle Earth. I'd love to play that again

I think I'm going to have a Bean day tomorrow. I haven't watched anything with him in since before the fire I think. I miss him.

Damn, I wish I hadn't given the Sharpe box set back to Mum-Ra :(

I'll save LotR until Jacqui gets home from work as I expect she'll want to watch it too. Now, what can I watch during the day? Not National Treasure as that was on during the cruise and on the plane coming home (which makes my above comment a blatant lie. LOL). That leaves me with Troy, Goldeneye, Stormy Monday and Lady Chatterly

Oh, I think it will have to be Troy. It's my happy place even though Beanie has an ikky beard in it. I'm not a big fan of facial hair

Damn, I wish I hadn't given the Sharpe box set back to Mum-Ra :(

Ok

I got up at 2:30. I do feel a bit better but my nose is all stuffy still. Thankfully my throat doesn't hurt so bad now so I think I'll live. It's definitely something I caught on the cruise as [livejournal.com profile] myfeetshowit has exactly the same symptoms.

Right, I shall catch up on my flist, have some lunch and then I need to go into town so I can pick up my photos and make everyone at work insanely jealous tomorrow ;)

After the Tom Cruise water pistol incident I started thinking a lot about 'A-list celebrities'

Who decides who is A-list and who isn't. Stores will close for someone like Tom Cruise but not for someone like Anthony Hopkins. It's not really to do with talent since Hopkins is a much better actor than Cruise. So who decides? These A-list celebs live a life of luxury. Why? Because someone out there decided they were worth paying millions to star in a film. At what point to people move from B-list to A-list? Do they have to make a certain amount in one of their films? Get nominated for an Oscar? I just find the whole process very strange.

Thoughts?

Hmm....

The t-shirt I bought in the Pirates of Nassau gift shop is size small but it looks HUGE. Yet the other t-shirt I bought in St. Thomas is fine. How strange
