Well, I'm here and the jounrey was smoot as could be. Even the people at customs were nice. WTF?

The weather here isn't great at the moment. It's very overcast and there's talk of a tropical storm hitting later. Good job I packed my seasickness pills!

It's the pre-cruise gala tonight which means we get to enjoy free cocktails and mingle with the stars. My camera is primed and ready to go.

I'm keeping a paper journal while I'm away so I can post a full report when I get back. I just wanted to check in and let you all know we I arrived safely

According to Yahoo Weather we're going to hve rain and thunderstorms for the duration of the cruise

The good old BBC are forecasting thunder for the weekend and then sun after that. I trust them...or I choose to on this occasion anyway. The alternative is too depressing ;)

Sorry for the spam but this hotel is in the middle of nowhere and thereisn't much for us to do until the party. We've been for a swim and now we're going to go for a walk even though it's raining outside

The storm knocked the internet out for a while and we were reduced to watching daytime tv. One soap in particular had us lauging out loud at the general silliness, crap acting and awful special effects. It was only when the show finished that we realised it was Passions. No wonder Spike was a fan. Hee!

Well, it's time to go and get ready for the party. Free booze, free food and Buffy stars. WHEE!!! I love cons. The people at them are always really nice. Hopefully I'l make some new friends (like innae and myfeetshowit)

I swear I am in love with everyone on this cruise. They are just SO cute. We had dinner and I sat with innae, myfeetshowit and some other lovely people. We ate lots and then after dinner Robia and Iyari came around to say hello to everyone. They are just adorable, acting like best friends and being all silly and giggly.

After a while Jackie and Kerry, two of the girls on my table decided they wanted to go and meet Amber so I went too. She is just the nicest person ever! She was chatting to everyone like they were her best friends. I had my picture taken with her and then we stayed around to chat for a bit.

Then we all went to chat to Jonathan and innae came with us. He had to leave before we could get pictures taken with him but it looks like he's going to be a LOT of fun when we sit with him at dinner.

When Jomathan left we went and chatted to Clare for a bit. She is totally adorable too! I had my picture taken with her and by that time eveyone else had left too.

Cruise starts properly tomorrow and Im excited. I know I'm not really involved in the Buffy fandom anymore but I still love going to things like this. I think I'm going to be gushing over everyone for a week
