I just received a nice letter from the letting agency informing me that we owe them £1340 for our new property

*blink*

Gave them a call and thay said 'Oh, that's just a standard letter we send out. I'll need to recalculate it and take off the bond and rent you've already paid and then send you a new bill'

Yeah, because the last thing I need is a bill 3 days before I get paid. I hope it works out that we don't owe them anything

BIRTHDAY PARTY, BABY

For those of you who aren't aware Jacqui and I share the same birthday and last year we had a lovely party where all our friends (or as many as could make it) came to visit. We went out for a lovely meal, invaded a pub, walked home barefoot and sat outside smoking, drinking and chatting until 2am.

I can't promise you all of those things this year but I can promise you the meal and the pub.

So, if you fancy coming to visit (I don't care where you're coming from, we'll find somewhere for you to sleep) then leave a comment and let us know
