Cruise

My Cafepress stuff has just been dispatched. Soon I really WILL have everything I need for the cruise

Apart from the shitload of cash we've been told we need. Long story.

Apparently each person has to pay a $420 deposit upon boarding the ship to cover drinks and other things. Anything you don't spend is refunded to you at the end of the cruise. This is more cash than I was planning on taking in total, and I'll have to take more on top of that to cover the shore excursions

This may be the last holiday I ever take....

Edit: And to top it off we're not sitting with ANY of the stars for dinner and just two other people. We're on one of the smallest tables there. Gonna be stilted conversation if we don't get along with the couple we're sat with

On the plus side the seating plan for the cruise is being reviewed after a couple of people complained. Maybe it'll get better but the day I've had I doubt it

I was going to work overtime on Saturday as I need extra money for the cruise now. Unfortunately the computer system is down so I can't. Might have to do Saturday AND Sunday next weekend instead :(

Damn Vulkon and their sudden and unexpected need for extra money. If I'd known about this $420 earlier I could have saved a bit more each month
