It's been a strange day.

I woke up really early today and I couldn't get back to sleep so I read a few fics online and headed to work early.

Just before lunch we were asked for a volunteer to help out another department. Everyone fell silent so I figured a change would be good so I offered to do it. Got down and chatted to the woman in charge who basicly explained what I had to do and then told me I'd better no cock it up or I'd be in trouble. Yeah, you're welcome.

Got a semi-telling off about an hour after that as I'd been sending unneccesary work to another department. It was more a 'please don't do it again' more than anything but I still felt bad

5 minutes later I got a grilling from one of the girls in my office about my love life. Apparently it's impossible for a girl to have male friends without secretly going out with one of them. Unfortunately when I get asked about things that aren't true I tend to deny it so strongly that it sounds like I'm lying. The whole office apart from Greg probably thinks I'm having a secret affair now *sigh*

Spent the afternoon doing that extra work and shite it was boring. I did get thanked at the end of the day though so I suppose that's something.

Have also thought of a Sean/Viggo fic I may attempt to write. RPS is so new to me I'm not sure it will be any good though. We shall see I guess

Went into town and decided against clothes for the cruise. Only 1 shop had summer stuff in and none of it was especially nice, although did I see a nice burgundy bikini that I liked.

Bought a mother's day present for mum_ra and then came home.

Rant part 2

Forgot to mention in my earlier post but the boss is driving us all insane again. She apparently spend the whole afternoon muttering that she couldn't concentrate because Greg and I were talking. Of course she never actually tells us to be quiet, just mutters or claps her hands at us *eyeroll*

I forsee her saving all this up and then just having a massive rant when it comes to report time. Well, I'm not sticking around to wait for that. I'm fed up of all this childish behaviour so I've drafted my transfer request letter. Needs a bit of tweaking and then I'll show it to boss's boss who suggested I do it in the first place. Once I get the ok from her I can submit it

Random factoid: When I first started thinking about what I would name my children if I ever had any I decided Richard Patrick for a boy after Sharpe and Harper. Later I decided I wasn't too keen on the name Richard so I decided upon James Patrick instead. Those have been my unborn son's names for about 10 years or so
