I just recieved a text message from Dave saying that the reason he and his girlfriend split up was because of me and therefore he doesn't want to be friends with me any more.

Well, there goes 4 years of friendship. I don't have the words

Slightly happier news

I've sent Jacqui the £200 for the flights and I should be able to send her the rest next week. Just the excursions and spending money left to save for now. I'm back to feeling excited again

Greg cut this out of the newspaper and left it on my desk when I was off sick. Cheered me up immensely when I got back
