I watched Moulin Rouge tonight and I'd forgotten just how much I adore this film. Baz Luhrmann is probably my second favourite director after Tim Burton. Everything is just so beautiful and artistic and full of colour and vibrance. I must watch Romeo & Juliet and Strictly Ballroom again.

Christmas goodies

I got a Christmas card from jslayeruk today *g* Thanks hon, I'm sniffle-free at the moment :)

There's also a MASSIVE parcel for me which I hardly dared touch. I'm pretty sure it's either Mum-Ra's or Jacqui's Christmas present but it's hand written with regular stamps stuck to it which seems a little odd for something I ordered from a shop

Very curious. Since I accidently let slip in mj LJ what I was getting Jacqui I might ask her to open it in case it's something for me. Or I might just go and open it now for the hell of it

ETA: On closer examination I found a 'from' sticker. It's Jacqui's present. MWAHAHA!!! I can wrap it and the other things I've bought her now and put them under our tree

Productive afternoon

Well, I bought some trousers AND a pretty top to wear to the Christmas party so go me! I also wrapped a load of Christmas presents and dug out my jacket and shirt ready for tomorrow. My feet are going to be in AGONY after traipsing around London in my smart shoes :(

Still, I'm going to spend the afternoon in Camden Town with Greg. Everyone I know says it's 'my kind of place'. Not entirely sure what that means since I've never been. I'll know tomorrow whether to be insulted or not

Then I'm meeting my friend Derek and he's taking me to a coffee shop in Soho. Never been there either so it's all going to be exciting tomorrow and I shall be ending the day in Chinatown for a nice meal with my friends :)
