Dec. 1st, 2004 06:38 pmWe decorated the office today. It took most of the afternoon and involved me standing on chairs and climbing on desks a lot. Still, it looks pretty good. I'll try and take some photos this week and post them here for all to see

I just want to issue a warning though. The gig in London is at the same place I went to in May where they wouldn't let me take in my digital camera. I had to hand it in at the cloakroom. They were allowing normal cameras in but the quality of the lighting meant that not many pictures came out

Been getting lots of nice feedback about my Sparrington fic. Thank god. I've never been so nervous about posting something in my life. I think it's something to do with the whole writing in an entirely new fandom thing. I know Buffy like the back of my hand where as PotC is one film, which I have seen several times, but I still don't feel like I know. I found Norrington a lot easier to write than Jack and I think it's obvious in the fic. the_dala pointed out a couple of times that I skirted over talking about how Jack was feeling and I had to go back and add a few bits. The reason was purely because I haven't quite worked out what's going on inside his head yet. There's a lot more to Jack than meets the eye and I really haven't got to the core of him yet
