marvo's recommendation I took pictures of my injuries and the hole in the road so I could send them to the council. However, because of where the hole is and the way it's shaped you can't really see it in the picture. The only way to get a decent shot would be to stand right over it and then I run the risk of getting hit by a car. Anyway, I've posted the photos below so you can see if you think it's worth sending.
