I watched a modern version of Beauty & The Beast on ITV tonight. Martin Clunes was the beast (or funny looking inbred rich man in this case) and the girl he fell in love with was his book loving plumber who also happened to be very pretty

I think this is actually my favourite fairy tale. I feel all sappy now

Today Jacqui and I are going to The York Dungeon. I've been before but not since they opened the vampire exhibit. Should be a lot of fun

We didn't go to the Dungeon in the end but this is a good thing. I GOT CHAPTER FIVE OF PRESS-GANGED DONE!!! God, this thing has been hovering over me for ages. It's one of those things where I LOVE writing it when I make a start but it's really hard to get myself motivated into doing it.

So, just got to get it typed up and then find a beta. Dave says he can do it but not for a couple of weeks. I'm pretty impatient when it comes to this sort of thing so I may have to ask one of you good people to do it for me. Depends how long it takes me to type it up and edit it

Still, it's done! I reckon there will be maybe 2 more chapters. 3 at most and then it will be done

I already know what I'm doing for my next fic. It will be back to canon stuff for me. AU is fun but I don't think I'd do more than one of them
