I'm LOVING Lost in a Good Book. Very amusing chapter last night where there is a Kafka-esqe trial and the prosecuting lawyer gets arrested in the middle of it because he isn't following what's going on

"This is ludicrous!" The lawyer yells as he is being dragged from the court

"This is Kafka." The Judge replies.

Hee!

Paid for the pre-cruise party this morning. Feeling all excited again now!

My birthday in less than 3 weeks. Quite looking forward to the party. Hopefully everyone will be able to come. Haven't seen nam_melon and padfoot_uk for AGES!!! Not since my birthday last year I don't think....

Bloody Hell!

One of my fics has been nominated at The Vampire Kisses Awards. I can't remember the last time I was nominated for ANYTHING. I never nominate myself for these things as I think it's a shade on the arrogant side (no offence to those who do, just how I feel personally). If whoever nominated me is on here I thank you VERY much. I don't expect to win, I'm up against a lot of authors who are FAR better than me, but I appreciate the gesture :)

Everyone's a winner!

Finished the office Olympics today and we're going out for a Greek meal tonight as way of a closing ceremony. I'm quite pleased with my overall performance 2 Gold Medals (Archery and 100m), 1 Silver Medal (Javelin) and 1 Bronze Medal (Basketball)

I came joint second overall which I don't think is too bad since I was crap at sport when I was at school. LOL
