Yikes!

Watched the 100 scariest moments tonight. Hush was in there as well as a whole bunch of other really scary stuff. The Shining was number 1. Had to watch Peter Kay at Blackpool just to calm my nerves after that

Then, just as I was feeling better, a fuse blew and all the lights went off. We still have electricity as my lamp and PC are working. Just no main lights.

This is the stuff that horror movies are made of! *hides*

jacqui_hw fixed the lights! She's so clever. I wouldn't have had a clue what to do!

Had a hay fever attack this morning which isn't good when I didn't go to bed until 3am. Even worse when I realised I've run out of pills and it's a Sunday. Nowhere is open on a Sunday. Tomorrow is a public holiday so I'm not even sure I'll be able to stock up then. Meh. I'm going to have to suffer for a couple of days

On the plus side, Jacqui has invented a Buffy drinking game which we're going to play tonight. Should be a lot of fun and I expect to be suffering from more than hay fever tomorrow ;)

Hmm...

I'm getting really excited about the cruise now. I've started checking the site every day to see if any new guests have been added. LOL. It's still over 9 months away and I haven't even finished paying for it yet. Hehe

Phew

Had a lovely pub lunch with Jacqui, her sister and Rick. Then we went shopping and I was able to get some allergy pills. YAY!!

Buffy drinking game should commence soonish so I'd better go out and buy booze. Am also making a trifle, but without the booze

Oh, and I forgot to post this yesterday but here's a picture of the picnic Jacqui and I had. It was really nice apart from the bit when a dog came over and nicked some of our food. Now you see why I'm a cat person!
